About Methacrylamide
Methacrylamide (also known as 2-Methylpropenamide) is a reactive vinyl monomer used to improve heat resistance, adhesion, chemical stability, and cross-linking functionality of polymers and copolymers.
It is widely utilized in water-soluble polymers, coatings, adhesives, textile resins, and paper treatment formulations, and offers enhanced thermal and hydrolytic stability compared with acrylamide-based systems. CAS Number: 79-39-0.
