Fumaric Acid is a white, crystalline, odorless organic acid.

In industrial applications, Fumaric Acid is used in resin manufacturing (especially unsaturated polyester resins), alkyd resins, paper sizing, and as a building block in pharmaceuticals and personal care formulations. Its low solubility and slow dissolution rate also make it useful in controlled-release drug delivery systems.
