Description
Dimethyl Phthalate (DMP) is a low-viscosity, colorless ester commonly used as a plasticizer for cellulose-based plastics, PVC, and other resins. It provides flexibility, low volatility, and excellent film-forming properties. DMP is also used as a solvent in inks, coatings, adhesives, and cosmetics, as well as an ingredient in insect repellents and fragrances due to its ability to stabilize volatile compounds.
Its compatibility with a wide range of materials makes it a versatile additive in both industrial and consumer applications.
