Description
Dimethoxymethane is a low-viscosity, highly flammable liquid that is widely used as a solvent, chemical intermediate, and fuel additive. It is valued for its high volatility, fast evaporation, and excellent solvency for resins, waxes, and oils.
In coatings and paints, DMM improves drying times and flow characteristics. In cleaning applications, especially for electronics and precision parts, it is used for its low surface tension and ability to dissolve polar and non-polar compounds.
