APPLICATION
Used in the production of collodion, varnishes, synthetic leathers, plastics, cosmetics, perfumes, and is also used as an extracting agent and dehydrating agent. Lacquer solvent, primarily for wood furniture and automotive topcoats; process and extraction solvents in chemical and pharmaceutical industry; and adhesives and sealants. It is used in paints and coatings, printing inks, and aerosol sprays.
