APPLICATION
Used as a plasticizer and a fire retardant; most commonly used flame retardant for cellulose acetate, in which it imparts flame resistance, good clarity, excellent water resistance, good flexibility, and toughness with no tendency toward tackiness; improves tensile strength in nitrocellulose films.
